Installation Procedure

1. Inspect seal (4). If seal (4) is worn or damaged, replace the seal. Install seal (4) in front cover (2).

2. Install front cover (2), button head screws (1) and nuts (3).

3. Tighten button head screws (3) to a torque of 13 ± 3 N·m (10 ± 2 lb ft).

End By:

1. Install the fan drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Drive - Install".
