Assembly Procedure

NOTICE

Failure to properly assemble parts or failure to follow established procedures can lead to damage of the parts and assembly.

To avoid damage to parts, always identify and mark the parts so that they can be installed in the same location. Ensure that gear surfaces align. Never force parts during assembly.

Note: Make sure that all of the parts of the main control valve are thoroughly clean and free of dirt and debris. Remove any scratches or burrs from the valve components with polishing paper or an oil stone. Check the condition of all the backup rings and the springs. If any of the components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Replace all O-ring seals with new O-ring seals. Put clean hydraulic oil on all of the components of the main control valve as the components are being installed. Make sure that all of the parts are installed in the part's original location.
