The following information pertains to CIPI Custom Designed 330 excavator track systems and to CIPI undercarriage arrangements which are based on 330, 330B, and 330C track type excavators.
Caterpillar Industrial Products, Inc. (CIPI) provides track roller frames of various styles to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) which include these arrangements: oscillating undercarriages for blast hole drill machines, bolt-on carbody designs for forestry products and special-length frames for underground mining products.
Because of the availability of a wide variety of frame arrangements, creating an Owner's Manual that is all inclusive of the available options is difficult. With the exception of the track roller frames, most of CIPI undercarriage arrangements use moving undercarriage components from Caterpillar. These components include rollers, idlers, track groups, and final drives with motors and sprockets.
