Note: Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the following parts: plugs, studs, bolts and nuts. These parts are for the following items: exhaust manifolds, couplings, elbows and turbocharger support.
(1) Tighten the studs that are in the flange to the following torque: ... 27 ± 7 N·m (20 ± 3 lb ft)
(2) Tighten the long bolt to the following torque: ... 55 ± 7 N·m (40 ± 5 lb ft)
(3) Elbow
Make sure that the cup plug is removed from each cylinder head before the elbows are connected.
(4) Put 9S-3263 Thread Lock on the threads of the stud for installation. Put 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the nut. Top of stud to housing ... 83.2 ± 1.5 mm (3.28 ± 0.06 inch)
