Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install a gasket on the manifold.
- Apply Tooling (A) to the studs for the turbocharger.
- Use a suitable lifting device in order to position turbocharger (10) on the manifold. The weight of turbocharger (10) is approximately
41 kg (90 lb) . - Tighten nuts (6) to a torque of
55 ± 5 N·m (41 ± 4 lb ft) . - Connect elbow (1).
- Connect tube assembly (8).
- Install tube assemblies (2), (3), (4), (5), (7), and (9).
