Product Support Program For Replacing Cracked 2.15M Stick On Certain 330, 330 L, 330 LN, 330B L And 330B LN Excavators Caterpillar

NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5563" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Problem

The 2.15 m stick may crack on certain 330, 330 L, 330 LN, 330B L and 330B LN Excavators. The stick may crack at the bucket cylinder brackets and this crack may extend to the weld joint of the bracket with the top plate.

Action Required

Replace the cracked stick with a new one. Refer to the Service Manual and the Disassembly And Assembly for instruction to remove and install the stick.
