  1. Install a new or clean screen (83).

  2. Install cap (82) and close lock (81).

  3. Install plug (80).

    1. Tighten inner section (80A) to a torque of 180 ± 27 N·m (133 ± 20 lb ft).

    2. Tighten outer section (80B) to a torque of 40 ± 5 N·m (30 ± 4 lb ft).

  4. Position hose assembly (79) and adapter (77).

  5. Install nut (76) and two hose clamps (78). Nut (76) is not shown.

    1. Tighten two clamps (78) to a torque of 5.6 ± 1 N·m (49.6 ± 89 lb in).

  6. Position DEF manifold group (75) and install four bolts (74).

  7. Position cover (73) and install four bolts (72).

  8. Position heater valve (71) and install six bolts (70).

  9. Position electrical harness/tube assembly (13) in tank (69).

  10. Position two receptacle assemblies (67) and install two nuts (68).

    1. Tighten two nuts (68) to a torque of 41 ± 1.4 N·m (30 ± 1.0 lb ft)

  11. Position block assembly (66) and install four bolts (65).

    1. Tighten four bolts (65) to a torque of 5 ± 0.4 N·m (44 ± 3.5 lb in).

  12. Position four relays (63) and install four nuts (62).

  13. Connect four harness assemblies (64).

  14. Position three ground wires (61) and install bolt (60).

  15. Position electrical lines (59) and install bolt (58).

    1. Max torque of bolt (58) is not to exceed 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

  16. Position connector receptacle assembly (57) and install two bolts (56).

  17. Install hose assemblies (52) and (53).

  18. Position electronic control group (54) and bracket (55).

  19. Install four bolts (51).

    1. Tighten four bolts (51) to a torque of 25 ± 5.5 N·m (221 ± 49 lb in)

  20. Position two connector plug assemblies (50) and tighten two bolts (49).

    1. Tighten two bolts (49) to a torque of 6 ± 1.5 N·m (53 ± 13.3 lb in).

  21. Install two covers (48).

  22. Install the voltage control. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Voltage Control (Load Protection) - Remove and Install".

  23. Position switch assembly (47) and install two bolts (46).

  24. Position solid-state relay assembly (45) and install two bolts (43).

  25. Connect plug (44).

    Note: If this part is dropped onto a hard surface, it should NOT be used.

  26. Position plate (42).

  27. Position hose assemblies (40) and install hose clamps (20).

    1. Tighten two hose clamps (20) to a torque of 5.6 ± 1 N·m (49.6 ± 89 lb in).

  28. Position filter/clamp assembly (41) with tightening screw of clamp at position (X).

    1. Tighten filter/clamp assembly (41) to a torque of 4.5 ± 0.7 N·m (39.8 ± 6.2 lb in).

  29. Position solenoid valve and mounting group (37) and install four bolts (36).

  30. Position two diesel exhaust manifold assemblies (35A) and install 12 bolts (34). Diesel exhaust manifold assemblies (35A) are installed into positions 1, 5, 4, and 8.

    1. Tighten 12 bolts (34) to a torque of 5 ± 1 N·m (44 ± 9 lb in).

  31. Position two diesel exhaust manifold assemblies (35B) and install 12 bolts (34). Diesel exhaust manifold assemblies (35B) are installed into positions 2, 3, 6, and 7.

    1. Tighten 12 bolts (34) to a torque of 5 ± 1 N·m (44 ± 9 lb in).

  32. Connect two harness assemblies (33).

  33. Position hose clamps (20).

  34. Connect two hose assemblies (32).

    1. Tighten hose clamps (20) to a torque of 5.6 ± 1 N·m (49.6 ± 89 lb in).

  35. Repeat Steps 29 through 34 on the opposite side.

  36. Position electronic control module (31) and install four bolts (30).

    1. Tighten four bolts (30) to a torque of 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in).

  37. Position harness assemblies (28) and (29) and push two tabs (29) to tighten.

  38. Repeat Step 36 for the three remaining electronic control modules (31).

  39. Position diesel exhaust fluid pump group (12) and install three bolts (25).

    1. Tighten three bolts (25) to a torque of 19 ± 4 N·m (168 ± 35 lb in).

  40. Connect plug assembly (26) and special connector (24).

  41. Repeat Steps 39 and 40 for each diesel exhaust fluid pump group (12).

    Note: To maintain cleanliness, protective caps must remain in place until final fluid connections are made.

  42. Position and install four bolts (22).

    1. Tighten four bolts (22) to a torque of 1.7 ± 0.4 N·m (15 ± 4 lb in).

  43. Position hose assemblies (21) and (23) and hose clamps (20).

    1. Tighten hose clamps (20) to a torque of 5.6 ± 1 N·m (49.6 ± 89 lb in).

  44. Position control valve/tube assembly (19) and hose clamps (20) and install four bolts (18).

  45. Connect plug (16) to control valve assembly (17).

  46. Repeat Steps 44 and 45 for each control valve assembly (17).

  47. Connect eight plugs (14) to hose assembly (13) and four DEF manifold groups (15).

  51. Position two covers (4) and install 14 bolts (3). Eight bolts (3) are not shown.

  52. Connect latch (1).
