Problem

The conduit on 450-6015 Engine Harness As can rub through the insulation of the wires on the inside. The harness can wear the insulation, exposing the wires, and cause error codes to occur. This harness is only used on machines with the C3.4B engine option.

Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but an interim repair has not been determined. Replace with the same part number if you experience this issue only after eliminating all other root causes using Engine Troubleshooting manual UENR0611.
