Exhaust Elbow - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the turbochargers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Remove".

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install Tooling (A) in the top of exhaust elbow (1). Attach a suitable lifting device onto Tooling (A). The weight of exhaust elbow (1) is approximately
28 kg (63 lb) . - Remove bolts (2). Lift exhaust elbow (1) from the engine.
- Repeat the procedure on the second exhaust elbow.

- Repeat the procedure on the second exhaust elbow.
