Accidental machine starting can cause injury or death to personnel working on the machine. To avoid accidental machine starting, turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the key. If the machine is not equipped with a battery disconnect switch, disconnect the battery cables from the battery and tape the battery clamps. Place a do not operate tag at the battery disconnect switch location to inform personnel that the machine is being worked on. |

Sawhead discharge debris may be increased in rough or hilly terrain. Heavier debris has the potential to travel greater distances. Always be aware of the flight angle of the sawhead discharge. Avoid cutting when people, domestic animals, building or personal property are located on the discharge side of the saw. Reposition the disc saw as necessary to avoid possible damage caused by the saw discharge. |

- Visually inspect the disc saw for irregularities at every 500 hours of use. Irregularities that are observed the disc saw should be disassembled and further inspected for visible irregularities in removed parts that are not visible on the assembled disc saw.
- If the damage is excessive, replace the disc saw.
