Track Tensioner - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the track roller frame (front). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Roller Frame (Front) - Remove and Install".

Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed. Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death. Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder. |
- Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (1) from pin (2). Remove pin (2).
- Remove cotter pin (7), pin (8), and hydraulic cylinder (3).
- Remove rod (6) and bolts (5) from track roller frame (4).

61 kg (135 lb) . Remove bolt (12) and pin assembly (13). Separate track roller frame (4) from belt tensioner (11).

- Install belt tensioner (11) in the reverse order of removal.
End By:
- Install the track roller frame (front). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Roller Frame (Front) - Remove and Install".
