Inside Left Steering Column (1) Propel override resistor (2) Propel override resistor |
The propel override resistor "1" (1) and the propel override resistor "2" (2) are located inside the left steering column. A cover plate must be removed to access these components.
Propel override resistors (1) and (2) limit the speed at which the machine will operate when the propel override switches are used.

Compartment at Front of Operator Platform (4) Back-up alarm relay |
Back-up alarm relay (4) is located in the power distribution module. This module is mounted inside the door of the compartment that is at the front of the operator platform. The compartment door provides access to the power distribution module. The cover must be removed from the module to access the back-up alarm relay. A decal on the cover identifies the components in the power distribution module.
The machine ECM controls back-up alarm relay (4). When the electronic control system determines that the desired travel direction is reverse, the machine ECM energizes the coil of the back-up alarm relay. In this case, the back-up alarm sounds.
