SUBJECT: Oil Level Gauge Replacements on the C7 On-highway Engines.

PROBLEM:

Some C7 engines were shipped with improper oil fill quantities. Refer to TIBU4451-00 "Oil Carry Over/Oil Fill Quantities for the C7 On-highway Engine". This article covers oil level gauge replacement for customers that own FCCC Motor homes with the C7 On-highway Engine.

SOLUTION:

If a customer is experiencing improper oil fill quantities, complete TIBU4451-00 "Oil Carry Over/Oil Fill Quantities for the C7 On-highway Engine" up to the point of re-calibrating the oil level gauge. Listed below are three part numbers for the different gauges that are available. The first gauge listed as high percentage of usage will be the most popular gauge for replacement.
