Tlumič vibrací klikového hřídele je viditelný z pravé strany motorového prostoru.
Poškození nebo porucha tlumiče vibrací vedou ke zvýšení vibrací klikového hřídele. Tyto vibrace budou mít za následek poškození klikového hřídele a dalších komponent motoru. Zhoršení stavu tlumiče vibrací se projeví nadměrnou hlučností ozubených kol převodného ústrojí při různých otáčkách v mezích provozního rozsahu motoru.
Společnost Caterpillar doporučuje vyměnit tlumič vibrací z kteréhokoli z následujících důvodů.
- Po poruše motoru způsobené zlomením klikového hřídele.
- Analýza podle programu S·O·S zjistila, že je opotřebené přední ložisko klikového hřídele.
- Analýza podle programu S·O·S zjistila velké množství částic vzniklých opotřebením převodového soukolí, které není způsobeno nedostatkem oleje.
Pokud neodhalíte žádný z výše uvedených stavů, či pokud není tlumič poškozený, tlumič vibrací klikového hřídele i nadále používejte.
