Data Link
The RC system utilizes three Data Links and Ethernet network to control the machine. The Remote Control CAN provides communications between the Remote Control Components. This CAN includes communication with the System Master (RCM), and the Terrain System. The Ethernet network provides communication from the RCM and Terrain system, through the Router back to the Operator Station via the site network. The Machine CAN A network is used for communication between the RCM and the machine ECMs. The system uses the Cat Data Link to provide machine data from the machine ECMs back to the RCM.
