PROBLEM
The existing OEM supplied engine cooling fan can induce high axial vibrations into the engine coolant pump joint face leading to a coolant leak on certain C2.2 Industrial Engines. The existing OEM supplied engine cooling fan has insufficient clearance from mounted components leading to an induced axial vibration under certain operating speeds which eventually leads to the coolant pump mounting bolts loosening and allowing a coolant leak to occur between the coolant pump and block mounting gasket. |
