PROBLEM
Some of the existing 116-7153, 190-6126, and 228-5112 Prelube Motors/Pumps in dealer parts stock can fail if placed into service. If the existing prelube motors fail it could result in alarms and warnings as well as downtime for repair. |
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect the following prelube motors/pumps in dealer parts stock: 116-7153 Motor Group 190-6126 Motor Group 228-5112 Pump Group Check the serial number on the prelube motor, the serial number is engraved on the pump side of the assembly. If the serial number is above 51070 mark the package to indicate it has been inspected according to this program. Return the part to dealer parts stock. If a prelube motor has the serial number 51070 or below, then remove the motor from dealer parts stock. Image1, example of typical serial number location. |
