Engine Shutdown Switch (Push Button) (1) - The engine shutdown switch (Push Button) is located on the lower left front side of the machine near base of ladder. Use the engine shutdown switch (push button) to stop the engine from the ground level.

Stop - Depress switch (Push Button) in order to use the engine shutdown switch (push button). Depressing the switch (push button) will stop the engine.

Run - Before the engine is able to start. Pull the switch (push button) to reset the engine shutdown switch (push button). Pulling the switch (push button) will give the engine the ability to start using the engine start switch.

During normal operation, use the engine start switch to stop the engine.

The engine shutdown switch (push button) does not deactivate the machine electrical system.

Note: The engine shutdown switch (push button) does not release hydraulic pressure from the secondary steering system or hydraulic pressure from the brake accumulators. In order to release the hydraulic pressure, move the shift control lever to the N position and the MASTER switch to the OFF position. The procedure will activate a solenoid valve in order to release the hydraulic pressure from the accumulators.
