Introduction
Use this procedure to support the rear of the high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) on C175 Off-Highway Truck Engines in order to install the 440-4285 Screen As . This procedure is not to be used in order to remove or install the HPFP. Do not perform any of this procedure until you have read and understand the procedure.

Fabricate two brackets, refer to Illustration 1.

Installation Procedure
- Remove the air inlet manifold from cylinders one, three, and five. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Inlet Manifold - Remove and Install".
- Remove any fuel lines and connectors attached to the fuel pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Pump (High Pressure) - Remove and Install".
- Install two brackets (1) onto the engine. Attach the brackets to the cylinder heads using two bolts (2) .
Note: Do not use the brackets as a step.

- Attach unistrut (3) to one bracket (1) using one bolt (2), two washers (5) and one nut (6) .

- Install trolley (7) onto unistrut (3) .

- Attach unistrut (3) to the remaining bracket using one bolt (2), two washers (5) and one nut (6) .
- Place strap (8) around the HPFP mono block and attach both ends to trolley (7) .
- Tighten strap (8) to support the rear of the HPFP.
Note: Do not over tighten the strap.
- Remove the two bottom bolts that attach the fuel pump to the drive adapter. Install bolts (9) in place of the previously removed bolts.

- Remove the remaining bolts that attach the fuel pump to the drive adapter.
- Adjust strap (7) in order for the HPFP to remain level.
- Slide the fuel pump to the rear of the engine.
- Install screen assembly (10) into the HPFP drive adapter.

- Slide the HPFP back into the drive adapter and install the HPFP. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Pump (High Pressure) - Remove and Install".
- Install any previously removed fuel lines and electrical connectors. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Pump (High Pressure) - Remove and Install".
- Install the air inlet manifolds for cylinders one, three, and five. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Inlet Manifold - Remove and Install".
