Main Control Valve - Disassemble

Disassembly Procedure.

Start By:

  1. Remove the main control valve

  1. Remove nuts (1) and the washers. Remove manifold (2).

  2. Remove valve (3).

  3. Remove plug (4) and O-ring seal (5). Remove spacers (6) and spring (7). Remove valve (9) and O-ring seal (8). Remove the backup ring and O-ring seal (10). Remove O-ring seal (11).

  4. Remove valve assembly (12).

  5. Remove nut (14) and retainer (13). Remove O-ring seal (15) and (16). Remove washer (17). Remove spring (18) and washer (19). Remove valve (20). Remove O-ring seals (21).

  6. Remove three O-ring seals (22) and (23). Remove O-ring seal (24). Remove valve assembly (25).

  7. Remove valve assembly (26).

  8. Remove nut (27) and seal (28). Remove retainer assembly (29). Remove spring (30) and O-ring seal (31). Remove valve (32) and seat (33). Remove spring (34). Remove O-ring seals (35) and (36). Remove valve assembly (37) and the O-ring seals.

  9. Repeat for the opposite side.

  10. Remove valve (38) and the O-ring seals.

  11. Remove screen (39). Remove plug (40) and plug (41).

  12. Repeat for the opposite side.

  13. Remove block (42) and the O-ring seals.

  14. Remove screw (49) and the O-ring seal. Remove retainer (48). Remove two shims (47) and six shims (46). Remove spring (45) and retainer (44). Remove stem (43).

  15. Remove plug (50) and the O-ring seal. Remove spring (51) and valve (52).

  16. Remove block (53) and the O-ring seals.

  17. Remove washers (58) and spring (57). Remove screw (54) from valve (55). Remove plug (56) and O-ring seals.

  18. Remove plug (59). Remove valve (60) and the O-ring seals. Remove plug (62) and (61).

  19. Remove three O-rings seals (63) and three O-rings seals (64). Remove O-ring seal (65). Remove valve assembly (66).

  21. Remove O-ring seals (70). Remove nut (71), washer (69) and coil assembly (68).

  23. Remove retainer (73), spring (74) and retainer (75).

  24. Repeat Step 20 through 23 for the remaining valves.

  25. Remove screw (79). Remove body (78) and the O-ring seals and back-up seal. Remove spring (77) and valve (76).

  26. Remove bolts (85). Remove housing (84) and O-ring seal (83). Remove sleeve (82) and the O-ring seals. Remove five washers (81) and spring (80).

  27. Remove plug (86), the three O-ring seals, and the backup ring.

  28. Remove plug (87) and the O-ring seal. Remove spring (88) and valve (89). Remove valve (90).
