Improved Stop Lamp Pressure Switch Available{1435,7805}

Usage:

All Caterpillar Machines Using 2M-9346 Pressure Switch Except For Off Highway Trucks

Reference: Special Instruction, SEHS9227, "Installation of Switches/Sensors With Sure-Seal Connectors".

An improved stop lamp pressure switch is now available. The new switch has increased reliability because it is sealed to prevent moisture entry, has a higher cycle capability, and uses a two pin Sure-Seal connector.

The new 125-9352 Pressure Switch is adaptable to all Caterpillar machines using the former 2M-9346 Pressure Switch except for all Off Highway Trucks (OHT's) which cannot use the new switch. OHT's require the lower setpoint of the 2M-9346 Pressure Switch which will continue to be serviced. The new 125-9352 Pressure Switch has a slightly higher setpoint than the former 2M-9346 Pressure Switch. The chart shows switch specifications. A two pin Sure-Seal connector will need to be added to the machine harness. A 6V-3000 Sure-Seal Repair Kit has the necessary parts required. Reference SEHS9227 for parts information and the installation procedure.
