New Turbocharger Groups And New Turbocharger Cartridge Groups Have Improved Thrust Bearing And Turbine Ring Seal{1052,1053}

Description of Change: New turbocharger groups and turbocharger cartridge groups are available. These new groups have six pad thrust bearings to provide increased thrust capacity and improved resistance to scuffing during startup and shutdown when marginal lubrication situations can occur. The new groups also include a new stainless steel turbine seal ring that provides increased seal life.

Adaptable To: Chart A identifies the new and former turbocharger groups, applicable remanufactured turbocharger groups, and applications.

Chart B identifies the new and former turbocharger cartridge groups, applicable remanufactured cartridge groups, and applications.

The new 108-9340 Seal Ring is a direct replacement for the 4W-1222 Seal Ring.
