A new 4C-9507 Retaining Compound, which is a direct replacement for 9S3265 or 4C4301 Retaining Compound, is also the approved substitute for Loctite® 271 (red). The new retaining compound has improved shear strength as shown in the chart.
The 4C-9507 Retaining Compound is available in 50 mL (1.6 fl oz) or as 4C-9506 Retaining Compound in 10 mL (.34 fl oz) dispensers.
