The control manifold (1) (or diverter valve manifold) contains the following components:
- Primary diverter valve solenoid (2)
- Secondary diverter valve solenoid (3)
- Shuttle valve (4)
Oil from the relief valve manifold P1 circuit (5) flows to the primary diverter solenoid. Oil from the relief valve manifold P2 circuit (6) flows to the secondary diverter solenoid. When the autonomous/manual switch in the cab is set to the Autonomous Mode, the switch sends a signal to the Machine Control Module (slave). The Machine Control Module (master) sends a corresponding signal to the primary diverter solenoid which energizes the solenoid. The primary diverter solenoid directs oil to the shuttle valve, which shifts and allows the oil to flow to the diverter valve (7).
The secondary diverter solenoid is a redundant solenoid that is energized by the Chassis ECM if the primary diverter solenoid will not operate.
