Description of Change: New voltage regulators are available. These new voltage regulators use integrated circuits. The former voltage regulators used discrete electronic components. The integrated circuits are more reliable and smaller. The new smaller voltage regulators require different mounting within the alternator housings. This resulted in new alternator group part numbers.
