A new family of electrical connectors is being phased into production.

The Deutsch DRC is a family of rectangular electrical connectors, accommodating up to 40 wires.

Part numbers of DRC components that are serviced through the Parts Department are listed in the following chart.

A 4C3406 Connector Kit can be used to service the DRC Connectors. The Kit contains; one 1U5804 Hand Crimp Tool, ten 8T5318 Connectors (blue in color, for 16-18 gage) and an assortment of plugs, receptacles, pins sockets, etc., including both DRC and HD-10 components.

The Deutsch pins and sockets require the 1U5804 Hand Crimp Tool. They cannot be crimped with a standard pliers-type crimp tool. Deutsch pins and sockets are plated and cannot be soldered.
