Description of Change: A new plug is used in the fuel injection control group. When injector synchronization and fuel setting adjustments are made, two plugs (1) [one on each side of the cover (2)] are removed and the synchronization pin and dial indicator are installed. This provides access through the front housing to the fuel stop lever. After synchronization and fuel adjustments are made, the former bolt would not seat when reinstalled. The new plug provides more face area for sealing the copper washer to the front housing.
Adaptable To: The new 2A5220 Plug is a direct replacement for the former 4F4879 Bolt.
