2. Terminal strip. 3. Voltage level rheostat. 4. Saturable reactor coil and core assembly. 5. Terminal strip. 6. Blocking rectifier. 7. Full wave rectifier. 9. Voltage droop transformer. 10. Voltage droop control switch.
Inspect the parts shown for loose connections, corrosion, burned spots, and cracked or worn insulation and replace them if necessary.
CONNECTION DIAGRAM-For 120/208, 240-480, 2400 V. GENERATORS (Compensating Current Transformer Type)
A. Voltage droop transformer. B. Voltage droop control switch. C. Saturable reactor. D. Full wave rectifier. E. Stator (Alternator). F. Rotating field (Alternator). G. Armature (Exciter). H. Voltage level resistor (If Required). I. Blocking rectifier. J. Voltage lever rheostat. K. Shunt field (Exciter). L. Control field (Exciter).
The diagrams are furnished so that when it becomes necessary to disturb the control equipment, reconnection can be accomplished without difficulty.
