(1) Exhaust pipe assembly

(2) Consider the groove of the clamp as a visual guide and tighten the bolt. Tighten the bolt until the groove of the clamp is half closed.

(3) Torque for four nuts ... 50 ± 10 N·m (37 ± 7 lb ft)

(4) Torque for four nuts ... 15 ± 3 N·m (133 ± 27 lb in)

Note: Refer to Illustration 1 in order to position the muffler clamp (7). Apply a thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of male pipe end and to the taper of turbocharger outlet pipe. Remove excess sealer from the joint before clamp assembly.

(8) Torque for the nut ... 68 ± 12 N·m (50 ± 9 lb ft)

(C) Position the muffler and fasten the muffler with U-bolts at a distance of 112 ± 5 mm (4.4 ± 0.2 inch).
