Flashing Messages

Usage:

CS-563E ASA
The AccuGrade System generates warning messages in situations when an action by the operator is required. The action ensures that the system continues to provide accurate guidance information. These warning messages are also written to the ProgramLog.txt file. Table 1 lists the GPS status messages.

Table 1
Message     Problem     Solution
"No GPS Receiver Data"     There has been no GPS data from the GPS receiver for at least 1.5 seconds.
This message could be caused by the following conditions:
- A problem with the GPS receiver
- A cabling fault
- A problem with a GPS receiver configuration
Check the GPS cable, power, and connections.
Check the physical condition of the GPS receiver.
Turn off the display and then turn the display back on.
If problems continue, contact the on-site manager.
"Low Accuracy (GPS)"     The GPS error estimate has exceeded the limit that is set in the GPS Accuracy Mode.     Change your GPS Accuracy Mode.
Check the data radio and radio cable.
Request that the on-site manager adjust the accuracy limits.
"V.Low Accuracy (GPS)"     The AccuGrade System is receiving autonomous GPS positions from the GPS receiver.     Check the data radio.
Check the base station.
"Old Position"     A position is not being generated by a GPS receiver.     Check the GPS receiver.
Check the GPS cables.
"Invalid GPS Configuration"     - There is a problem with a GPS receiver output configuration. The coordinate system may be missing from a GPS Receiver configuration.
- There is GPS data, but the data is in the wrong format, or the baud rate is incorrect.
Load a design. A valid GPS configuration file will be sent to the GPS receiver.
Consut the manager on the site.

Table 2 lists messages that relate to general operation of the AccuGrade System.

Table 2
Message     Reason     Solution
"No Design Loaded"     - No design is loaded.
- The previously loaded design may not be on the data card.
- The data card has been removed while the file is loading.
Load a design, or check that the data card which contains the design is still inserted.
"Avoid Zone Entered"     You have entered an Avoidance Zone. This is an area that has been designated as hazardous or otherwise undesirable for machine operation.     Use Plan View in order to guide the machine out of the Avoidance Zone.
"Loading Data"     The Display is loading the current design information.     Wait for the message to stop. The message will disappear after a short period of time.
