Note: Inspect the O-ring seals, the seals, and the gaskets. Replace the O-ring seals, the seals, and the gaskets that are worn or damaged.
Note: Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
- Install bearing (26). Install retaining ring (25). Install bearing cap (24).

Note: Ensure that the retaining chain is fastened securely around the suspension cylinder.
- Remove Tooling (D). Use Tooling (A) to remove front wheel, brake, and suspension cylinder (20) from Tooling (C). The weight of front wheel, brake, and suspension cylinder (20) is approximately

- Position Tooling (B) as shown in Illustration 9 to support front wheel, brake, and suspension cylinder (20). Refer to Tool Operating Manual , NEHS1303, "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (B).
- Tighten bolts (22) to a torque of

Personal injury or death can result from air in the oil for the brake hydraulic system.
Air in the system can prevent complete brake application and it is possible that the wheels on the machine can not be stopped.
Air must not be in the oil for the brake hydraulic system to function properly.
- Remove the air from the service and parking brakes. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Brake System Air - Purge".
- Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hoist, Torque Converter and Brake Tank Oil - Change".
- Charge the suspension cylinder. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Suspension Cylinder (Front) - Purge and Charge".
