  1. Add additional valve section (53) to bank valve (51). See Illustration 51.

Note: If the bank valve is installed on plate (55), you must remove the valve in order to modify the valve.

Use fastener kit (54) in order to add the additional valve section to the bank valve.

Note: The 319-2159 Fastener Kit (54) consists of four 161 mm (6.34 inch) threaded rods and four 3T-0852 Locknuts .

Install the bank valve on plate (55) by using four bolts (12), four hard washers (9), and four spacers (20) .

Note: Place a spacer between the bank valve and the plate as you install each bolt.

ET Configuration

    Illustration 56g01789793

  1. From the Hydraulics Configuration screen, highlight "Hoe Auxiliary Valve #2 Installation Status" and click on "Change".

Note: "Hoe Auxiliary Valve #2" is the eighth function thumb wheel on the left joystick control.

    Illustration 57g01789815

  1. In the Change Parameter Value screen, highlight "Installed" and click on "OK".

    Illustration 58g01789836

  1. Observe that "Hoe Auxiliary Valve #2 Installation Status" now shows "Installed".

There are four options for adjusting the flow for the eighth function auxiliary control valve:

  • "Hoe Auxiliary Valve #2 Port A Solenoid Minimum Current" - This adjusts the minimum flow from the circuit on Port A. The setting will affect the feel of the thumb wheel control for Port A. The recommended setting is 0.6 mA. Higher settings will give a harsher start of the work tool.

  • "Hoe Auxiliary Valve #2 Port A Solenoid Maximum Current" - This adjusts the maximum flow from the circuit on Port A. This adjustment is factory set at 1.8 mA for maximum flow. This setting can be adjusted with the aid of a flow meter for the required flow for the work tool that is used. Lower settings will yield lower flow.

  • "Hoe Auxiliary Valve #2 Port B Solenoid Minimum Current" - This adjusts the minimum flow from the circuit on Port B. This will adjust the feel of the thumb wheel control for Port B. The recommended setting is 0.6 mA. Higher settings will give a harsher start of the work tool.

  • "Hoe Auxiliary Valve #2 Port B Solenoid Maximum Current" - This adjusts the maximum flow from the circuit on Port B. This adjustment is factory set at 1.8 mA for maximum flow. This setting can be adjusted with the aid of a flow meter for the required flow for the work tool that is used. Lower settings will yield lower flow.

Use the procedure that is provided below in order to change the settings of the solenoids for the auxiliary valve #2.

  1. From the Valve Calibrations Currents screen, highlight the item that you want to change and click on "Change".

    Illustration 60g01789924

  1. Acknowledge the change by clicking on "Yes".

    Illustration 61g01789935

  1. Enter the new value of "1.4" and click on "OK".

    Illustration 62g01789938

  1. Observe that the value has been changed to "1.4 Amps". Exit the ET Configuration program.

  1. Repeat the procedure for each setting, as needed.
