NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


Note: Inspect the O-ring seals, the seals, and the gaskets. Replace the O-ring seals, the seals, and the gaskets that are worn or damaged.

Note: Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

  1. Install O-ring seal (7).

  2. Install adapter (6) onto gear pump (4). Apply Tooling (A) onto bolts (5). Install bolts (5).

  3. Use two people in order to install gear pump (4). The weight of gear pump (4) is approximately 30 kg (65 lb). Install bolts (3). Connect hose assembly (2). Connect hose assembly (1).

  4. Fill the differential with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil - Change".

End By:

  1. Install the gear motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Motor (Rear Axle Lubrication) - Install".
