Description of Change: A new kit for the fuel transfer pump is now used on C7 and C9 Engines. The new kits have improved mounting bolts. The new bolts are longer. The bolts also have an increased torque value.

Adaptable To: Refer to Table 1 for the new replacement part numbers.

Make sure in order to verify the right part number with the pump that is on your engine currently. Refer to your engine's Parts Manual or use the Service Information System (SIS) web site to verify the correct kit for your fuel transfer pump. Also refer to Special Instruction, REHS3830, "Installation Procedure for the Fuel Transfer Kit on the Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injector (HEUI) Pump" for the proper procedure on installing the new kits for the fuel transfer pump.
