- 接合变速箱调制器控制装置。

- 接合行车制动器。
- 把变速箱方向和速度控制装置移到所要的方向和速度位置上。

- 松开变速箱调制器控制装置。
- 踩下加速控制踏板直至达到所要的速度。
- 往高速调档时，每次只调高一档。 根据需要，提高发动机转速。
- 每次调低一个档位。 对负载机器往低速档调档时，把发动机转速提高，以使调低一档后，发动机转速仍然可以保持。

为防止可能损坏机器,往下换低档时,先把地面速度降低。 |
注: 在降档时会有降档速度保护，但建议按下述步骤：
- 改变机器的行驶方向时，先用行车制动器把车速减慢。 踩下变速箱调制器控制踏板 ，使机器停止。 再把变速箱方向和速度控制装置移到所要的方向和速度位置上。 选好要求的方向和要求的速度后，松开行车制动器和变速箱调制器控制踏板。
