1. Install O-ring seal (18) on position sensor (1).

2. Install mounting block assembly (17) to plate (15) and install bolts (16).

3. Install shaft (14) and roll pin (13).

4. Install spacer (9), spring (10), and snap ring (11).

5. Install woodruff key (12).

   Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

6. Install torque arm (7) and tighten set screws (8).

7. Install roll pin (6).

8. Install plate (5), tubes (3), and bolts (3).

9. Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (2). Install position sensor (1) and bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 1.0 ± .25 N·m (9 ± 2 lb in).

1. Install the steering column. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Column - Install".
