(2) Lubricate seals with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(3) Thickness of new 218-0268 Plate ... 6.35 ± 0.13 mm (0.250 ± 0.005 inch)

- New disc ... 6.1 ± 0.08 mm (0.240 ± 0.003 inch)
- Minimum thickness of a worn disc ... 4.64 mm (0.183 inch)
- Minimum groove depth ... 0.32 mm (0.013 inch)
- Minimum thickness of a worn disc ... 4.64 mm (0.183 inch)
Note: In order to check a friction disc for wear, measure the disc thickness and measure the groove depth in the friction material. For reusability, the thickness of the friction disc must be at least 4.64 mm (0.183 inch). The minimum groove depth in a friction disc must be at least 0.32 mm (0.013 inch).
(5) Brake Disc Pack
- Thickness of three inner plates and two new friction discs ... 38 mm (1.5 inch)
- Minimum worn thickness ... 27.94 mm (1.100 inch)
