Description of Change: The skip weld that retains the star plate to the carrier roller has been replaced with a full penetration weld. This new weld improves the service life of the roller groups.

Adaptable To: The skip weld on the 228-6404 Track Roller Gp, the 228-6405 Track Roller, and the 254-4095 Track Roller Gp has been replaced with an 8 mm (0.3150 inch) fillet weld. Refer to Illustration 1.
