系统配置参数是那些影响到排放和发动机应用功率的参数。 这些参数的默认值已在工厂被编程设定好了。 某些参数可由用户进行更改以便适合特定应用的需要。 这些参数的正确数值可以在电子维修工具上获得。 某些配置参数也被压印在发动机铭牌上。
在头 100 小时作业期间，对一个新的电子控制模块（ECM）编程设定是不需要密码的。 这 100 小时"自由配置"特性允许用户按安装的要求制定合适的 可编程序设定值。 "燃油限制"值和"个性模块不匹配"除外。
注: 如果改动了受工厂密码保护的参数，可能会使Caterpillar 保修无效。

喷油器校准代码
注: 喷油器校准代码不在 Caterpillar 电子技师（ET）的 "Configuration（配置）"屏幕上。 "Injector Codes Calibration（喷油器代码标定）"可在 Cat ET 的 "Service（维修）"菜单中的 "Calibrations（标定）"选项下找到。
喷油器校准代码是每一个单体喷油器上都可以找到的一组号码。 ECM 使用这个号码来补偿各喷油器之间的制造误差。 如果更换任何单体喷油器，必须为新喷油器重新编程设置喷油器调整代码。 另外您在更换 ECM 时，也应重新编程设定所有喷油器校准代码。
