The front auxiliary manifold is located behind the operator platform on the left side of the machine. The auxiliary pump provides oil to the manifold through port "P" (11). The oil is returned to the hydraulic tank through port "T" (10) .

Spray solenoid (1) is energized when the spray switch is in the ON position. When the spray solenoid energized, the solenoid allows supply oil to flow to the head end of the spray cylinder.

Note: The machine will be equipped with a water spray system or an emulsion spray system. Spray solenoid (9) controls both of these systems.

Cab right solenoid (2) and cab left solenoid (3) are energized when the cab slide switch is placed in the RIGHT position or the LEFT position. When energized, the solenoids allow supply oil to flow to the cab slide cylinders. The cab slide cylinders move the cab to the right or the left. Cab slide pressure reducing valve (6) for the slide function limits the pressure at the cylinders to 6200 kPa (900 psi).

Rotor hood down solenoid (4) and rotor hood up solenoid (5) are energized with the hood tilt switch. When these solenoids are de-energized, supply oil from the auxiliary pump is sent into the head end and the rod end of the tilt cylinder.

When the hood tilt switch is in the RETURN position, tilt lock solenoid (8) is energized. In this case, oil can flow into and out of the rod end of the rotor tilt cylinder.

When the hood tilt switch is in the SERVICE position, the tilt lock solenoid is not energized. Under these conditions oil cannot flow out of the rod end of the rotor tilt cylinder. The tilt lock solenoid prevents the rotor hood from drifting while the rotor is in the SERVICE position. Rotor tilt pressure reducing valve (9) limits the pressure which is available at the rotor tilt cylinder to 9650 kPa (1400 psi).

Rotor tilt relief valve (7) limits the pressure in the rod end of the rotor tilt cylinder when tilt lock solenoid (8) is de-energized. The relief valve is set to 13780 kPa (2000 psi).

Parking brake pressure reducing valve (12) is installed in order to limit the pressure at the cylinder to 4820 kPa (700 psi). Port "G1" is used for testing pressure in the parking brake and motor shift circuit. If the system is operating within specifications, the pressure at the port "G1" should read 4820 kPa (700 psi).

Shift solenoid (13) controls the oil which is used to shift the front propulsion motors. When the shift solenoid is energized, oil from the auxiliary pump is directed through port "MS" (17) .

Parking brake solenoid (14) is mounted on the auxiliary manifold. The ECM controls the parking brake solenoid. When the parking brake solenoid is energized, oil from the auxiliary hydraulic pump is directed to the parking brake through port "PPB" (18). When the parking brake is not energized, oil from the parking brake is returned to the hydraulic tank through port "T" (10) .

Supply oil acts on one side of brake sequence valve (16), against the spring. When the supply oil pressure reaches 12420 kPa (1800 psi), the brake sequence valve shifts against the force of the spring, opening a passage for supply oil to flow to the downstream components in the auxiliary manifold. The brake sequence valve ensures that the steering and parking brakes receive priority flow over all other functions in the auxiliary hydraulic system.

Main relief valve (15) is installed on the auxiliary hydraulic pump. When system pressure is greater than 20670 kPa (3000 psi), the main relief valve opens. In this case, excess pressure is vented to the tank through the port "T1" (not shown).

Port " RT1" (21) and port "RT2" (22) supply oil to the rod end of the rotor tilt cylinder rod end and to the head end of the rotor tilt cylinder.

Note: Port "G2" (19) tests rotor tilt pressure. If the system is operating within specifications, the pressure at port "G2" will be 9650 kPa (1400 psi). Port "G3" (20) tests cab slide pressure. If the system is operating within specifications, the pressure at port "G3" will be 6200 kPa (900 psi).
