General Information (Auxiliary Hydraulic System)

The auxiliary hydraulic system supplies oil in order to charge the track tension accumulators.
The auxiliary hydraulic system also supplies oil in order to operate the following components:
- Screed extend cylinders
- Tow point cylinders
- Truck hitch cylinders
- Fumes motor
- Screed hoist cylinders
- Auger hoist cylinders
- Hopper hoist cylinders
- Shift cylinders
- Parking Brakes
The first 10 segments show the location of all hydraulic components and electrical components which are part of the auxiliary system. A brief discussion of each component is provided in these segments. Cross-sectional views of selected components are also used in order to further explain the operation of components in the auxiliary system.
