The following procedure is the proper operation of the variable frequency controller.
Operation Of The Variable Vibratory System
- Start the machine.
- Place the throttle control switch to the HI idle position.
- Move the vibratory select switch to either the HI or the LOW amplitude setting.
- Push down on the "On/Off" vibratory control switch on the top of the propel control lever in order to start the vibratory system.
- Rotate the variable vibration control knob clockwise in order to increase the frequency of the vibrations per minute.
- Rotate the variable vibration control knob in the counterclockwise direction in order to decrease the frequency of the vibrations per minute.
Shutting Down The Vibratory System
- Push down on the "On/Off" vibratory control switch on the top of the propel control lever in order to stop the vibratory system.
- Move the vibratory amplitude switch to the center or Off position.
Note: Moving the vibratory amplitude switch to the center position will shut off the vibratory system. Also, the "on/off" control switch on the top of the propel control lever will be temporarily disabled. Select LOW or HI amplitude in order to reset the control.
Note: Moving the vibratory amplitude switch to the center or Off position resets the controller.
- If the vibratory system is turned off and the vibratory amplitude switch is in either the HI amplitude or Low amplitude setting, then it will be necessary to move the switch back to the center position in order to reset the controller. If this is not done the vibratory system will not start.
