Description of Change: An open circuit in the relay for the fuel transfer pump will cause the following diagnostic code: MID 036 CID 1627 FMI 05 "Fuel Pump Relay open circuit". It is possible for an open circuit in the throttle lock lamp to generate the same fault code.
New software assigns the correct diagnostic code for the throttle lock lamp: MID 036 CID 0548 FMI 05 "Throttle Lock Lamp open circuit". Install the new software into the engine ECM.
Adaptable To: The 240-3353 Engine Ratings Electronic Software is cancelled and replaced by the 252-4874 Engine Ratings Electronic Software. The software is adaptable to the Machines that are listed above. Serial number effectivity is listed in Table 1.
