Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Release the hydraulic system oil pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release".

Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

1. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2).

2. Remove bolts (3) and remove guard (4). Disconnect hose assemblies (5) and (6). Attach a suitable lifting device to the stabilizer link. The weight of the stabilizer link is approximately 146 kg (320 lb).

3. Remove bolts (7) and cap (8) from each side of stabilizer link (9).

4. Start the engine and carefully turn the machine to the left in order to disengage the stabilizer link. Remove stabilizer link (9).

Installation Procedure

1. Attach a suitable lifting device to the stabilizer link. The weight of the stabilizer link is approximately 146 kg (320 lb). Install stabilizer link (9). Start the engine and carefully turn the machine to the right in order to engage the stabilizer link.

2. Install cap (8) and bolts (7) to each side of stabilizer link (9).

3. Connect hose assemblies (5) and (6). Install guard (4) and install bolts (3).

4. Connect hose assemblies (1) and (2).
