The following information is an addition to the Specifications module for the new STIC control lock. The new STIC control lock is effective with S/N:LJB1116-UP
. The specifications for the new STIC control lock are outlined in "STIC Control Lock".

(A) 20 mm (0.78 inch)
(1) Apply 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound to the two nuts prior to assembly.
(2) Apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to threads of the nut prior to assembly.
(3,4) Be sure there is no space between the bearing and the nut.
(5) Apply 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound to the two bolts prior to assembly.
(6) Apply 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of the two nuts prior to assembly. Torque for the two nuts ... 15 ± 3 N·m (11 ± 2 lb ft)
(7) Apply 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound to the three bolts prior to assembly.
(8) Apply 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound to the two bolts prior to assembly.
(9) 8C-3442 Coil Spring
- Length under test force ... 57.9 mm (2.28 inch)
- Test force ... 71.2 ± 5.8 N (16.00 ± 1.30 lb)
- Free length after test ... 50.3 mm (1.98 inch)
