Lubricate the face and threads before assembly.
- Torque for locknut ... 5900 ± 300 N·m (4352 ± 221 lb ft)
(9) Lubricate the inside diameter and the outside diameter of the rings and the seal with clean grease.
(10) The slit of the ring must turn in the direction of the piston.
(11) Lubricate the sealing lip slightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
