Description of Change: A new gasket improves the sealing capability of the joint between the turbocharger and the turbocharger water lines. The new gaskets are designed with a different material and with new geometry. The new design helps to prevent the gasket from creeping. The gasket material is better able to withstand higher temperatures.

Adaptable To: The 241-3283 Gasket is a direct replacement for the 7N-7628 Gasket. The 241-3283 Gasket is adaptable to the 3500 Machine Engines that are listed above. Refer to Illustration 1 for the location of the gasket.
