Description of Change: The new pin is 25.0 mm (1.00 inch) longer than the former pin. The increased length of the pin will distribute the grease more effectively. The new pin will also allow additional plates to be welded onto the body for improved load distribution.

Adaptable To: The new 216-1625 Pin As replaces the former 151-1238 Pin As .

The new pin assembly is effective with (S/N: JSM1-UP).

The new pin assembly is adaptable to (S/N: 5YW1-UP). In order to install the new pin assembly onto the previous machines, four 218-0240 Blocks and four 218-0239 Plates must be installed onto the body.

Do not attempt to adapt the new parts to the previous machines without contacting Product Support for the Large Off-Highway Trucks. Contact Product Support for the Large Off-Highway Trucks for more information on adapting the new parts to the (S/N: 5YW1-UP) machines.
