Usage:

EXCAVATORS301.5 (3YW) MINI-HYDRAULIC EXCAVATORS

Problem:

The pins in the lock assembly of the 152-8748 Quick Coupler may stick either in the open or the closed position.

Solution:

Clean the quick coupler. Reduce the recommended service time from 50 hours to ten (10) hours. The instructions for cleaning and servicing are in SEBU7152-02 Operation and Maintenance Manual 301.5 Mini Hydraulic Excavator, October 1998, page 131.

Engineering is working on a permanent solution.
