Swing Drive Seals May Be Installed Incorrectly On Certain Large Mining Excavators

Usage:

EXCAVATORS5130 (5ZL, 7TJ),
5130B (4CS),
5230 (7LL) EXCAVATORS

Problem:

The parts manuals for the above listed machines show the seals for the 134-3675 Swing Drive Group installed incorrectly. New swing drives, factory remanufactured swing drive, and factory rebuilt swing drives have the seals installed correctly. However, if the swing drive was rebuilt the seals may be installed incorrectly.

Solution:

When you install seals in the 134-3675 swing group, use the following illustration.
